Deposits and Screening Fees

Cash Option:

There is a easy and legitimate cash option, but the company inexplicably won't let anybody talk about them on their websites. There are zillions of chain pharmacies and grocery stores that carry their reloadable credit cards and the special refill cards to reload their credit cards. When you email or call me, I will give you the company's name and the specific name they use for the refill cards. The refill cards look just like cards to add minutes to a cell phone and are green in color.

At the store, take the refill card to the cash register and tell them you would like to put $50 on the card. They will ask you for $54.95 (there is a service fee) IN CASH. Ask them whether there is a delay in when the card will be active. Scratch off (don't peel off) the silver strip on the back of the refill card. You need to email, IM, or call me to give me that number. Once I have the number, I have the cash, but you have maintained anonymity.

Credit Card Options:

The absolute easiest way to pay a deposit by credit card, online, is to send an amazon.com giftcard to . Amazon doesn't give me any information on you at all, not even your email address, when you use this method, so it is anonymous to me even if it isn't anonymous to your amazon account / credit card.

Another option is for you to sign up up for and send a deposit via alertpay.com to . AlertPay is pretty similar to PayPal (which I don't accept).

A final option is for you to send it via payments.amazon.com to , which you can sign up for and have it be associated with your regular amazon.com account if you want. This is also pretty similar to PayPal.

Refunds

If you cancel 24 or more hours in advance of your scheduled appointment and I have not already booked a hotel or transportation, your deposit is, for some payment methods, refundable. Alternatively, I can use your deposit as the deposit for a future session. Cash deposits are not refundable, which is the price you pay for anonymity of cash. Amazon gift cards are not refundable either. I can return deposits done via payments.amazon.com or alertpay.com, minus the card processing fees.

If you cancel before your session, but less than 24 hours in advance, I will apply the deposit to the cost of your next session, but will require a new additional deposit to re-schedule. If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance and do not want to re-schedule, you forfeit your deposit.

If you fail to notify me any time before the appointment that you are cancelling your session, you forfeit your deposit and will not be eligible to schedule with me in the future. You are also at risk for being put on client blacklists.

For people who want me to forgive the fact that they stood me up without calling or texting: I have heard the car accident/family illness/work disaster stories a zillion times, way more often than is statistically predicted for the relevant population, but things do happen and I'm not totally heartless. If something legitimate comes up, you can at least send me a two word text message saying "not coming." If you can't send a text message because you got in a car accident or had to go to the emergency room, I'm willing to accept a scanned copy of the police report or ER visit receipt as proof that you couldn't even have texted me. In that case, you would be allowed to reschedule with a new deposit.
